Nan Thompson

Nan L. Thompson

Nan grew up in Akron, Ohio. She graduated from Centenary College for Women in Hackettstown, New Jersey and worked in New York City for the National Broadcasting Company as an assistant in spot sales.

After moving to Florida she began working for attorneys in Fort Lauderdale. She subsequently moved to Delray Beach and has been a legal assistant for 34 years. Nan has worked for Dickenson Murphy Rex and Sloan since 1992 as part of the securities arbitration and litigation group. She has two grown children and two granddaughters, who all live in Delray Beach.

Having been a member of the Junior League for over 15 years, Nan did extensive volunteer work in both Akron and Fort Lauderdale and set up a program to teach piano to retarded and dyslexic children. Her hobbies are playing the piano, playing bridge and restoring her old Florida house.
